WhatsApp Business Integration

Integrating the WhatsApp Business API enables scalable, secure communication with your customers on their preferred messaging app.

[!IMPORTANT] Data Security: Sentikko uses the official Cloud API hosted by Meta, ensuring end-to-end encryption compliance and high reliability.

Deployment Prerequisites

Before initiating the connection, ensure you have:

• Meta Business Manager Access: Admin rights to your business portfolio.
• Dedicated Phone Number: A number capable of receiving SMS/Voice OTPs that is not currently active on any WhatsApp mobile app (personal or business).

Integration Procedure

Sentikko utilizes the v4 Embedded Signup flow, which allows you to connect your business without leaving the dashboard.

1. Navigate to Settings: Open Settings > Integrations in your Sentikko dashboard.
2. Select WhatsApp: Click the "Connect" button on the WhatsApp card.
3. Meta Embedded Signup: A secure popup will appear.
   • Log in to Facebook.
   • Select/Create your Meta Business Portfolio.
   • Select/Create your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
   • Verify your phone number via SMS or Voice.
4. Wait for Discovery: Sentikko automatically discovers your WABA and phone numbers.

[!TIP] Permission Errors? If you encounter "Permission Denied" errors while fetching account info, Sentikko automatically falls back to a Master Token (System User Token) to ensure a smooth setup without manual configuration.

Required Permissions

During the signup flow, ensure the following permissions are granted:

• whatsapp_business_management (Manage your account and templates)
• whatsapp_business_messaging (Send and receive messages)
• business_management (Account discovery)

Post-Connection Configuration

Once connected, your number will appear in the Inbox.

• Profile Settings: Update your display name, profile picture, and business description directly from Sentikko.
• Message Templates: Submit templates for approval to start sending broadcast campaigns.
