Appointment Scheduling

Sentikko's appointment system allows you to manage your availability and let clients book meetings directly into your calendar.

Key Features

  • Standardized Appointment Types: Define meeting durations, buffer times, and colors.
  • Google Calendar Sync: Automatically create events and meet links in your Google Calendar.
  • Public Booking Page: A premium, frictionless booking interface for your clients.
  • Availability Management: Real-time availability calculation based on your connected calendar and working hours.

Setting Up Appointment Types

  1. Navigate to Organization > Appointments in your dashboard.
  2. Click New Appointment Type.
  3. Configure the following:
    • Name: e.g., "Introductory Call"
    • Slug: The URL suffix (e.g., intro-call)
    • Duration: How long the meeting lasts.
    • Buffers: Preparation time before and after the meeting.
  4. Save the appointment type to activate your public booking link.

[!IMPORTANT] Google Meet Links: To automatically generate Google Meet links for your bookings, you must have the Google Calendar Integration connected for your organization.

How to Book

Clients can book an appointment by visiting your public booking URL: https://app.sentikko.com/book/[your-slug]?org=[your-org-id]

You can also find and copy this link directly from any event card in your Shared Calendar.

Managing Appointments

All booked appointments appear instantly in your Shared Calendar. From there, you can interact with events to manage them:

  • View Details: Hover over or click an event card to see attendee emails, location, and notes.
  • Copy Booking Link: Quickly copy the specific booking link for that appointment type.
  • Join Meetings: Access the automatically generated Google Meet link directly from the event details.
  • Cancel Appointment: Use the "Cancel Appointment" button within the event details to mark it as cancelled and remove it from your Google Calendar.

Technical Note: Google Calendar Sync

For the best experience, ensure your Google Calendar integration is connected with "Offline Access" enabled. This allows the system to automatically refresh tokens and keep your availability up-to-date even when you're not logged in.
