Google Calendar Integration
Connecting your Google Calendar allows Sentikko to manage your scheduling availability and automatically create calendar events for new bookings.
Authentication & Security
Sentikko uses OAuth 2.0 to securely access your Google Calendar. We only request the minimum permissions necessary:
- View your calendars.
- View and edit events on all your calendars (to check availability and create bookings).
Offline Access
During the initial connection, we request offline access. This provides a refresh token, which allows our system to:
- Automatically refresh your access token 5 minutes before it expires.
- Keep your availability up-to-date even when you are not actively using the Sentikko dashboard.
- Successfully schedule appointments made through your public booking page at any time.
Setting Up the Integration
- Go to Settings > Integrations in the Sentikko dashboard.
- Find the Google Calendar card and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to Google. Log in and click Allow (make sure to check the box for calendar management).
- Once redirected back, your integration will be marked as Active.
Troubleshooting: Refresh Errors
If you see an error stating "No refresh token" or "Invalid credentials":
- Navigate to your Google Account Permissions.
- Find Sentikko and click Remove Access.
- Return to the Sentikko dashboard, disconnect the integration, and reconnect it.
- This will force Google to issue a new refresh token, resolving any persistent sync issues.
[!TIP] Automatic Meet Links: Every appointment created through Sentikko automatically includes a Google Meet link, so you don't have to manually create one.
