Execute High-Volume Messaging Campaigns

Broadcast Campaigns

Broadcasts allow you to send proactive messages to a wide audience on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. This is ideal for marketing promotions, newsletters, and critical updates.

Campaign Creation Workflow

1. Select Audience

Target the right customers using Segments or upload a CSV file.

  • Segments: Dynamic lists based on tags (e.g., "VIP Customers", "Pending Orders").
  • Import: Upload a list of phone numbers for one-off campaigns.

2. Choose Content

Select a pre-approved Message Template.

[!WARNING] WhatsApp Policy: Marketing messages on WhatsApp must be pre-approved by Meta. Ensure your template is "Approved" before scheduling.

3. Schedule & Send

  • Send Now: Trigger the campaign immediately.
  • Schedule: Set a specific date and time for delivery to optimize open rates.

Troubleshooting & Common Errors

If a campaign message fails to send, check the Campaign Report for specific error codes.

Common Sending Errors

  • Missing phone number: The contact record is missing a value in the "Phone" field.
  • Invalid phone number: The number is too short or contains invalid characters.
  • Template approval required: You are attempting to send a template that hasn't been "Approved" by Meta yet.

Automatic Retries

Sentikko includes a robust retry mechanism for transient failures (e.g., network glitches):

  • 3 Retries: The system will automatically attempt to resend failed messages up to 3 times.
  • Exponential Backoff: Retries are spaced out (10s, 30s, 60s) to maximize the chance of success.

Optimization Tips

  • A/B Testing: Test different template variations to see which yields higher engagement.
  • Timing: Analyze open rates to determine the best time of day to send.
